"Retirement Time is Private Judging Time" with ADR Services, Inc.
That time has arrived for the Professor. After serving on the San Diego Superior Court Bench for more than 12 years and in the private sector for more than 28 years, Judge Edward Huntington has retired and will join ADR Services, Inc. to continue private judging in the fields of Family and Business Law as well as Taxation. The offices are in the downtown NBC building and the phone is 619-233-1323 (Ask for Genevieve or Erin). THE DOORS ARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS. Judging has been a wonderful profession and the practice of law was truly a joy that seems to have gone by in a flash. It seems like just yesterday when I was taking cases from Jim Allen, Don Peterson and Joe Bryans at the City Attorneys office to go try 'em sight unseen. What a treat! Private judging promises to be a whole new treat. We plan to have special pricing for the active duty military as well as special education days on special topics of interest. Don't wait to shift over to private judging and control you own calendar and proceed at your pace - NOT the Court's - call us now. There is a choice of services.

The Fiesta Dunes Golf Club was formed for the poor schlub who doesn't want to pay 1000's of dollars to join a private club simply to get a golf handicap or who finds that the Torrey Pines Men's club no longer fills the bill of providing you with a handicap and some access to one of the City's finest courses. FDGC doesn't yet provide you with any access to a real golf course with real grass on it , BUT it does, in fact, provide you with an honest to goodness real and legitimate USGA/SCGA handicap - good for all purposes. The Professor and his partner Ed Martin in their spare time have met all of the requirements and have become a bona fide certified handicappers with all of the rights that the SCGA can confer. The annual cost is a mere $40 and lower yet if you wish to belong to more than one such group. A hookup with a real golf course is in the future as are some group clinics out at Stadium Golf.

This is a totally cool thing - how to tell which side of the car that a gas
tank is on. How about renting or borrowing a car. You need to fill
it up and you have no idea which side the gas goes in. Look at the fuel
icon, there may be a little arrow pointing to the correct side of the car.
On my car the icon itself is on the same side of the guage as the gas fuel
hole. Why didn't anyone ever tell us this slick little trick?

Professor's ProfileProfessor Nedley is San Diego Superior Court Judge Edward Huntington (Now Retired). Judge Huntington was appointed to the Bench by his friend Governor Wilson in 1995 and has served primarily in Family Law and Civil Trials with short turns in Criminal and Probate. Prior to the Bench Judge Huntington practiced in Family Law and Taxation and was named in the original edition of "Best Lawyers in America". He was and now is California Board Certified in both Family Law and Tax Law and holds an LL.M. in Taxation and a B.S. in Accounting. He is easily amused by obscure research, boats, computers and golf. In December Judge Huntington was named Outstanding Jurist for 2006 by the Southern California Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. In 2004 he was named Outstanding Alumnus by the Hastings Law School Alumni Association. Previously active in the Bar, he was President of the San Diego County Bar Association and Vice-President of the State Bar of California, where he chaired the Bar's discipline system. He chaired and co-founded the Certified Family Law Specialists of San Diego and is a long standing Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
